How this works
Slab area and thickness determine the net wet concrete volume. The order quantity adds a handling allowance, then the planner combines concrete, one-day labour, equipment, logistics, and contingency.

Worked example
A 1,000 ft2 slab at 5 in thickness needs about 11.79 m3 net concrete. With 5% allowance, order about 12.38 m3, or three 6 m3 delivery loads after checking the supplier's dispatch and minimum-order rules.
