Concrete
0.248 m³
Steel
19.9 kg
Concrete cost
4,471 NPR
Total material
7,253 NPR

How this works

concrete m³ = count × L × B × D
steel kg = concrete × kg/m³
cost = concrete×rate + steel×rate

Worked example

Four lintels at 1.2 × 0.23 × 0.15 m with 80 kg/m³ steel → ~0.17 m³ concrete and ~13 kg steel.

FAQ

What length do I enter for a lintel?

Clear opening width plus bearings on both sides as shown on the drawing — not only the door leaf width.

Is 80 kg/m³ of steel correct?

It is a planning default only. Actual kg/m³ comes from the bar schedule on the structural drawing.

Does this design the lintel size?

No. Depth, width, bearing, and reinforcement are structural. This multiplies quantities for budgeting.

Can I use it for stone or wooden lintels?

The form assumes RCC. For other systems, use material-specific takeoffs.

Should I include formwork?

Not in this tool. Pair with the shuttering/formwork calculator if you need board area.
