Single Room Material Calculator Nepal | Slab, Brick, Plaster
Estimate slab concrete, bricks, plaster, and paint area for one rectangular room. Free material takeoff for Nepal house construction.
How this works
slab volume = L × W × thickness wall volume = (perimeter × height − openings) × thickness plaster both faces @ 12 mm, 1:4 paint area ≈ plaster + ceiling
Worked example
A 4 × 3.5 × 2.9 m room with 0.23 m walls and 125 mm slab yields slab concrete, brick count, and plaster bags for a first procurement list.
FAQ
What does the single room material calculator include?
Floor slab concrete (cement, sand, aggregate), brick walls, both-face plaster, and paintable area for a rectangular room.
Is the roof included?
No. Pair this with the Room + GI Roof Construction calculator if you need CGI sheets and roof overhangs.
Which concrete mix is used?
Default parts are 1 : 1.5 : 3 (cement:sand:aggregate) with the IS-style 1.54 dry-volume factor. Adjust parts if your BOQ specifies another grade.
Are foundations included?
No. This is a room shell takeoff above foundation. Add footing/excavation calculators for substructure.
Why paint area includes the ceiling?
We add net wall faces plus floor area as a ceiling proxy so you can size emulsion roughly. Deduct if the ceiling finish differs.
